Aerosmith is an American hard rock band, sometimes referred to as "The Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band". Their style, which is rooted in blues-based hard rock, has come to also incorporate elements of pop, heavy metal, and rhythm and blues, and has inspired many subsequent rock artists. The band was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. Guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton, originally in a band together called the Jam Band, met up with singer Steven Tyler, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Ray Tabano, and formed Aerosmith. In 1971, Tabano was replaced by Brad Whitford, and the band began developing a following in Boston. Nine Lives is the 12th studio album by Aerosmith, released March 18, 1997. The album was produced by Aerosmith and Kevin Shirley, and was the band's first studio album released by Columbia Records since 1982's Rock in a Hard Place. It peaked at #1 at the Billboard Charts. One of the album's singles, "Pink", won a Grammy for Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.

Alice in Chains is an American rock band formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1987 by guitarist Jerry Cantrell and original lead vocalist Layne Staley. Although widely associated with grunge music, the band's sound incorporates heavy metal and acoustic elements. Since its formation, Alice in Chains has released four studio albums, three EPs, two live albums, four compilations, and two DVDs. The band is known for its distinct vocal style which often included the harmonized vocals of Staley and Cantrell. Alice in Chains rose to international fame as part of the grunge movement of the early 1990s, along with other Seattle bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. The band was one of the most successful music acts of the 1990s, selling over 35 million albums worldwide, and over 15 million in the US alone. Alice in Chains is the eponymous third studio album by the band. Released on November 7, 1995, it was the follow-up to the highly successful Dirt. It marks the band's last studio album to feature vocalist Layne Staley, who would die of a drug overdose in 2002, and the last until Black Gives Way to Blue was released in 2009 featuring new vocalist William DuVall. 01 - Grind 02 - Brush Away 03 - Sludge Factory 04 - Heaven Beside You 05 - Head Creeps 06 - Again 07 - Shame In You 08 - God Am 09 - So Close 10 - Nothing Song 11 - Frogs 12 - Over Now LINK |

Frehley's Comet was an American rock band formed and led by ex-Kiss lead guitarist Ace Frehley. The group released two studio albums and one live EP before Ace Frehley left the band. Second Sighting is the second out of three LPs put out by Ace in the 80's, but it was the last under the band name Frehley's Comet. Second Sighting was recorded with new drummer Jamie Oldaker, who had previously worked with Bob Seger and Eric Clapton. He replaced Anton Fig, who would return for 1989's Trouble Walkin'. This makes Second Sighting the only Ace Frehley solo album or project (excluding compilations) to not feature Fig. "Dancin' With Danger" is a cover version of a song recorded by the Canadian band Streetheart. Although the songwriting credits list Frehley and Dana Strum, the music and lyrics are very similar to the original version. Ace Frehley – lead guitar, lead vocals, Tod Howarth – rhythm guitar, vocals, keyboards, John Regan – bass guitar, backing vocals and Jamie Oldaker – drums, percussion. 01 - Insane 02 - Time Ain't Runnin' Out 03 - Dancin' With Danger 04 - It's Over Now 05 - Loser In A Fight 06 - Juvenile Delinquent 07 - Fallen Angel 08 - Separate 09 - New Kind Of Lover 10 - The Acorn Is Spinning LINK |

Alien Ant Farm is an American alternative rock band that formed in the southern California city of Riverside in 1995. Their name comes from an idea original guitarist Terry Corso had about aliens and the earth--"I was daydreaming at my dull desk job with my feet up, and I thought to myself, 'Wouldn't it be cool if the human species were placed on earth and cultivated by alien intelligence?' Maybe the aliens added us to an atmosphere that was suitable for us, and they've been watching us develop and colonize, kind of like what a kid does with an ant farm." The band has sold over 1 million units worldwide, and has 4 studio albums, and 8 music videos. Truant (stylized as truANT) is Alien Ant Farm's second album. It was released on August 8, 2003 by DreamWorks Records. The producers of the album were Stone Temple Pilots' guitarist and bassist Robert DeLeo and Dean DeLeo. The music video for track "These Days" was filmed on a roof top across the street from the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles. The surprise video shoot was shot during the 2003 BET Awards while numerous hip hop artists and rappers were arriving on the red carpet before the awards show. The video catches the reaction from many artists, including Nelly, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Kim. The song "These Days" appeared on EA sports video game Madden NFL 2004. Also, the song "S.S. Recognize" was on NHL 2004. The album art is based on the classic Pee-Chee brand school folder, featuring the faces of the band members. Dryden Mitchell - vocals, acoustic guitar, Terry Corso - lead guitar, backing vocals, Mike Cosgrove - drums and Tye Zamora - bass, kalimba, backing vocals, piano.
